The Vision

The vision for this build went beyond performance. The goal was to create something that feels just as deliberate standing still as it does at full throttle.

The base of the bike is a clean, sharp white—built around the already aggressive lines of the Stark VARG. On top of that sits a carefully restrained graphic package: gold and purple accents that don’t overwhelm the bike, but command attention the moment you see them.
The aesthetic leans heavily into supermoto culture—where function is evident, and style follows performance. Nothing is added without reason, but everything still makes a statement.

It’s not overbuilt, not overdesigned. It’s deliberate.

Execution

To execute this, we partnered with Purpose Built Moto, a custom motorcycle workshop known for pushing beyond conventional aesthetic boundaries.

Their work typically lives outside the world of dirt bikes. Intentional detailing, and a focus on craftsmanship define their builds. That made them an unconventional choice for a project based on the Stark VARG—but that contrast is exactly what made it work.
What stands out most is how natural it all feels. Nothing looks out of place, despite the crossover of styles. The minimalist white base, paired with gold and purple graphics, carries their signature approach—subtle in execution, but impossible to ignore.

The Stark Varg EX

At the heart of this build is the Stark VARG—a futuristic electric motocross bike designed to challenge everything we expect from traditional dirt bikes.
Unlike combustion engines, the VARG delivers torque instantly. There’s no clutch, no gears, just direct and seamless acceleration. This makes power not only more accessible, but far more tunable.
One of the standout features is its fully configurable power mapping. Riders can adjust output, engine braking, throttle response, and traction characteristics—all from a digital interface. For this build, that flexibility is what makes an 80HP setup usable rather than overwhelming.
The VARG is built around a lightweight frame that keeps handling sharp and responsive. The low centre of gravity is thanks to strategic battery placement. This adds stability, especially under hard acceleration.

The ideal platform for a precise and sharp supermoto!

Real World Application

This is where an electric supermoto truly comes into its own.
In city riding, responsiveness is everything. With no gears or clutch to manage, the bike delivers immediate acceleration the moment you touch the throttle. Whether it’s quick gaps in traffic or tight corner exits, the power is always exactly where you need it.

Compared to traditional supermotos, it opens up riding opportunities in areas where noise would normally be a limitation. Early mornings, late evenings, tighter urban zones—it all becomes more accessible without drawing unwanted attention.

Additionally, without the need to manage gears, clutch work, or engine vibration, the riding experience is noticeably less fatiguing. Over longer sessions, that translates into better focus, smoother inputs, and more consistent performance.

The key Modifications

Stealth-finished drivetrain and braking hardware to keep the focus on form and accent colours.
  • Supermoto Front Brake Upgrade
High-performance braking setup tailored for road-focused control, precision, and increased stopping power.
  • Custom Front Fender
Redesigned for a cleaner supermoto stance while improving flow and proportion across the front end. Handshaped inhouse at Purpose Built Moto
  • Custom Headlight Shroud
Lightweight, race-inspired detailing that ties into the handshaped accent of the front fender.
  • Blacked-Out Swingarm
A cohesive darkened base layer that allows the gold and carbon highlights to stand out.

Modernised lighting package utilising the PBM Omni lights, a 3in1 tail light.
  • Custom Graphics Kit (Purple and Gold)
A restrained but aggressive livery that reinforces the bike’s minimalist yet loud design philosophy.
Gold for class and a touch of deep Purple to offset the bold colours.

What This Means for AEMC

With a strong foundation in custom motorcycle culture and a forward push toward mainstream electric motion, the direction is only getting clearer. A recent collaboration with Royal Enfield has expanded the possibilities for future builds—bringing new platforms into focus. This Stark isn’t just a standalone project; it’s a statement of what’s to come, and a glimpse into the future of AEMC.
